    3. This is all the information I have on George W. Bricker and Sarah Pinkston GEORGE W. BRICKER FACT: Name: George W. Bricker (my great grandpa) Born: 21 March 1833 Died: 8 Sept 1905 in Perry Township, Licking County Cannot locate a death certificate for him. ASSUME: That he was born in Coshocton County, Ohio - but he might have been born in Pennsylvania. The census shows that he was born in Ohio. FACT: Married Hannah Huffman Date: 19 July 1855 Place: Coshocton County Born: 30 April 1838 in Tuscarawas County Died: 15 Dec 1859 in Fresno, Coshocton County FACT They had 2 children (1) John Fidley Bricker Born: 3 Jan 1857 Died: 27 Feb 1950 in Albia, Iowa (2) Malissa Jane Bricker Born: 26 August 1858 in Fresno, Coshocton County Died: 7 Jan 1947 in Perry Township, Licking County ASSUME: That John was born in Fresno, Coshocton County FACT: George W. Married Eliza Jane Osborn Deweese (my ggrandma) Date: 1 Oct 1865 Born: 13 May 1830 in Mt. Sterling, Muskingum County Died: 25 Jul 1902 in Perry Township Licking County FACT: They had 2 children (1) Sarah E. Bricker Born: 19 Sept 1866 (2) Sibbett McCann Bricker (my grandfather) Born: 15 Oct 1870 in Perry Township, Licking County Died: 25 May 1945 in Newark, Licking County I have located George W. in the following census: 1900 George W. & Eliza in Perry Township, Licking County 1880 George W., Eliza, John, Malissa, Sarah and Sibbett in Perry Township, Licking County 1870 George W., Eliza, Sarah in Perry Township, Licking County 1860 I found a George Bricker age 26 and John age 3 living with a William Pinkerton/Pinkston. (The ages match that of my George W and his son John.) This was in Bakersville, Adams Township, Coshocton County. William's wife Sarah is listed as being 32 years of age. I am thinking that Sarah might be George W.'s sister (or at least some relative of his). I cannot find any information on Sarah at all. 1850 I found a George, age 17, living with William Pinkston. (The age Matches that of my George W.) This was in Bakersville, Adams Township, Coshocton County. The Sarah that is living there on this census has as her age being 40. Per Polock on the genealogy chat - he found the Pinkston in the 1870 census in Adams Township, Coshocton County. Again her age was much different than the other two. He is thinking that we might be dealing with two Sarah Pinkston. I am thinking that George W.'s parents might have died when he was a very young child. I cannot locate a birth certificate for him because Coshocton County did not start keeping records until 1867. I looked to see if I could locate guardianship records and could not because of the fact that Coshocton County told me they did not keep records until 1867. George served in the Civil War and I have his military records - but it does not show who his parents were. Because of his military service - he ended up being blind at the time of his death and he did receive a pension from the Government for his service. Really would love to find his parents.
