I've "rescued" an old photograph of David CARROLL which was taken at the Springer Studio in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with David likely in his 30's or 40's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has written "Joe's bro" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of David Newcomer CARROLL b. 5 Jun 1866 in Wharton, PA to parents William Asbury CARROLL and Caroline Masure HAGER. David married Ada May CHISNELL on 27 May 1889 in Uniontown, PA and later died in Scottdale, PA on 24 Aug 1906. During the 1900 census records indicate that the family was living in Scottdale, PA with records providing the following information: David N.
