I'm sending this to all because it seems to be of interest. Marriage apps were not filed in Westmoreland County until into the 1880's. Before that, we use church records when available, and items in the newspapers. There are several people who have recorded marriages from newspapers. Baltzer Meyer Historical Society has several of these. See our website.
