FORSHA, of 31 East Chestnut Street, Blairsville, died in the Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, yesterday at 3:30 a.m. He was born in Blairsville Sept. 11, 1915, a son of the late Alva FORSHA and Gertrude JAMES. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Gertrude FORSHA, of Blairsville; three sisters--Mrs. Ethel RICHARD, of Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. Alice ALTEMUS, of Blairsville; Mrs. Ruth AUEN, of Blairsville. A brother, Harry L. FORSHA, of Johnstown, also survives. He is a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church of Blairsville and a member of the Eagles of Bellwood, Pa Friends will be received at the home of his mother, Mrs Gertrude Forsha 31 East Chestnut Street, Blairsville where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Posted By: Barbara Lorensen Date: May 1 2005 Lost his life in the World War, he was a member of Company L. of Blairsville of the One Hundred and Tenth Regiment, He was killed in the attack on Bois de Grimpette Hill on July 30, 1918. He was one of five Blairsville boys who lost their lives within half an hour at the Grimpette woods fight....
