Just wanted to say a little about our speaker at the Chestnut Ridge Historical Society last night. He is Robert Mendler, a holacaust survivor. I think that this was the best talk that we have ever heard. Dr. Mendler graciously gave this talk free of charge. He spent 6 years in 10 concentration camps and lost his entire family. Yet he went on to live a remarkable life and to give back to his adopted country. He gives these talks free of charge to schools and others who ask and if he is able.
