Schaffstall Cyrilla S. Schaffstall, 75 of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 21, 1992, at home. She was born May 16, 1917, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Hilary B. and Anna Short Stader. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a registered nurse. She was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Carbon. She graduated in 1939 from the former Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing, Greensburg. She was a member and treasurer of the Greensburg Lioness Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Schaffstall, in 1982. She is survived by a brother, Hilary Stader of Herminie; a sister, Mrs. John (Mary Jane) Diehl of Latrobe; and a number of nieces and nephews Friends will be received at the Coshey-Nicholson Funeral Home Inc. 319 West Pittsburgh St. Greensburg, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Prayer service will be held Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, Carbon. Interment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Twp. Alvin P. Oskin Jr. in charge of arrangements.
