Where do I look to find information about my grandfather's military service in WWI? I have a photograph of him with 6 other men from October 1918. The "caption" says "Rolanfont France Oct 1918. Firing Squad." The names in the photograph are: Savage Boolavich Stewart Alford Hays Frye Foil I have tried to find Rolanfont on a French map and can't find anything even close. I thought if I could find his Company, etc. and I could find where they were stationed. I have also tried to find information about American firing squads and can't find anything. My grandfather's name is Carl T. FRYE and he was from Laughlintown, Westmoreland County, PA. Thank you in advance for your help.
