    1. Josiah Thomas George and family
    2. HI Ellis, Thank you for offering to help a complete stranger. Just as you are willing to help me, I am helping a friend of my sister try and trace her family which is listed below. Her parents divorced when she was real young and any one whom she could have asked are now all deceased. She was raised here in Western New York and never knew anything about her father's family (Lawrence H. George's son Harry). Here is what I know about the family. In 1850 census record, Josiah is living with parents (Peter and Deborah) in Washington Township, Westmoreland County. In 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1900, Josiah is living with his wife and children in Burrell Township, Westmoreland County. Can not find him or wife in 1910 census. Josiah's age in all census records is for year 1827 or 1828 respectively including 1850. Josiah Thomas George born March 1827 (per 1900 census) wife, Rebecca L born October 1834 (per 1900 census) daughter, Sarah E born 1854 son, John S born 1856 (missing by 1870 census, presume died) son, William T born 1858 (missing from 1880 census) daughter, Annie M born 1861 daughter, Mary E born 1864 daughter, Alice S born March 1866 (per 1900 census) daughter, Emma B born 1870 son, Lawrence H born April 7, 1875 (per World War I Draft Registration Card and Blairsville cemetery entry) son, David F born 1874 (per 1880 census, supposed to be 2 years younger than Lawrence) daughter, Martha A born 1877 Lawrence lived in Indiana County in the 1930 census with wife Mary and 5 sons. I know they are buried in the Blairsville Cemtery, Blairsville, PA. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again, Mary Flack 2280 Hartland Road Gasport, NY 14067
