My last hope to discover the McCready (McCrady) who married (or maybe didn't) Peter Marmié's daughter Sarah (Sally) Marmie sometime around 1820-4 is a possible obituary for Eleanor (Elinor) McCrady , one of Sarah's daughters. Eleanor married David George. Sarah's boys, Peter McCready and William McCready disappeared into Indiana County and Monongahela (City) respectively around 1873. Eleanor died March 4, 1901 resident of Vandergrift, but her death certificate says nothing about her parents. Was David George, her husband who died in 1904, ashamed of her parentage? A search of the two local papers for the area at the time, the Apollo Sentinel and the Vandergrift Citizen, drew a blank. Could anyone in the Greensburg area check the newspaper(s) in general circulation in Greensburg for March 4 to 14, 1901 for an obit for Eleanor George (McCready, McCrady) ? Allen D. McCrady
