Hello, I descend from Jacob Hough and wife Charlotte Smith of Westmoreland county, Pa. Supposedly Jacob was german and born in Frederick county, Maryland.......then I have reference where he might have been born in Bucks county, Pa. He did between 1803 and 1806 in Westmoreland county, Pa...........he might be buried at Zion's Lutheran Reformed Church near Alverton. If anyone can help in deciphering if that branch of Hough's was german or english I would appreciate it. I would also like to connect with any other Hough's from that line. jamie
