A few days ago the much appreciated MS Wienke noted that she could not place a place called Birmingham, Pa. May I make a guess? When Pittsburgh was growing (Allegheny County), it ate small neighbors for breakfast. I believe the town of Birmingham was one such. There is now the Birmingham district in Pittsburgh. Allen D.
