Gosh Ellen, this is so weird, I was just thinking about you this morning!!!!! Even went on the Elizabeth Historical site!! Yes, maybe I was generalizing a bit too much. Dawne did a good thing posting the information on the internet, maybe someone will recognize some of these familys and contact her. One time I was looking through the abstract of my home, and going back I learned alot about the original owners of this land, I went online and found a person in Florida looking for this family, so I sent them what information I had found here in this town. Even went down the street to the old family cemetry and took pictures for them. Katy Ellen <ellen@b-n-s.com> wrote:Dear Katy, Don't be too sure that no one wanted it. I know of a Bible that I discovered in the Uniontown library that I immediately recognized as the direct family of a friend of mine in another state. Those people came here to see that Bible & the man had absolutely no idea how it got out of the family & there. It was to go to his mother & he'd have paid good money to have it back but of course the library had it, for some reason didn't know who placed it there but now it was in their care. He has now died but at least he obtained photocopies of the important family pages & knew it was going to be well cared for. Ellen (ETHS) ==== PAWESTMO Mailing List ====
