Everts & Company, Philadelphia, 1882, reprint by Closson Press, Apollo Pennsylvania, 1991). It is a tremendous volume detailing all aspects of Westmoreland history as well as stories about the original settlers and persons of importance or prominence within the county prior to the early 1880s. And it has an all name index at the rear.
