I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Mrs. PRICKETT which was taken at the J. Sorenson Studio in Toppenish, Washington. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Mrs. PRICKETT likely in her 40's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this is likely a photograph of Anna Catherine MOMEYER, wife of Japheth PRICKETT and have gathered the following information: Anna Catherine MOMEYER b. 13 Oct 1860 in West Unity, OH to parents John MOMEYER (b. 20 Jan 1825 in Unity Township, PA) and Mary Elizabeth CRAVENS (b. 20 Jan 1836 in Fayette City, PA). She married Japheth Charles Freemont PRICKETT (b. 14 Sept 1857) on 4 Oct 1887 in West Unity, OH. The couple had 7 children including, Charles Augustus; Mary Elizabeth; Clara Maria; Grace Evangeline; Charlotte Amelia; George Eldridge; and Franklin Japheth PRICKETT all born between 1888 and 1907. Anna Catherine MOMEYER PRICKETT died 29 Mar 1947 and is buried in Yakima, WA. Census records for the family are as follows: 1900 census of Brady Township, OH: Japheth F. PRICKETT, dau, age 10, born Aug 1889, born OH Phoebe E. PRICKETT, dau, age 9, born Apr 1891, born OH Clara M. PRICKETT, dau, age 7, born Jan 1893, born OH Grace E. PRICKETT, dau, age 5, born Sep 1894, born OH Charlotte A. PRICKETT, dau, age 1, born Jun 1898, born OH 1910 census of Outlook, WA: Japheth F. PRICKET, age 52, married 22 years, born OH, parents born NJ/OH, a Farmer Anne PRICKET, wife, age 49, married 22 years, 8 children/7 living, born OH, parents born PA Clara PRICKET, dau, age 17, born OH Grace PRICKET, dau, age 15, born OH Charlotte PRICKET, dau, age 11, born OH Frans PRICKET, son, age 2, born WA 1920 census of Outlook, WA: Japheth F.
