Everyone, Somehow or other, I completely missed Joseph when I transcribed the 1900 U S Census for Jacob and Mariah. He sure was there. Major goof on my part!!! Sorry! Pleasant) At 12 o'clock, January 21, occured the death of Mrs. Mariah Hull, wife of Jacob Hull of this place, aged 66 years, 3 months, and 11 days. She was the mother of nine children, two of whom are dead: Jane Hull, who was burned to death at McClure, and Jacob Hull, Jr. who was killed in the battle of Malate, Phillippine Islands. Those who survive are: George Hull, Rogers Mills; Catherine Hull, Rockford, VA; Mariah Hull, Coal Run, Somerset Co.; Anna Hull, Alverton; Margaret Hull, Mutual #4; Joseph Hull, Keister; Bertha Alice Hull, Youngwood. Funeral services were conducted at the late residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Catherine and unknown Whitatker had a son James who lived and died in Greensboro, Greene Co. Would that be the one you are referring to? Thanks again for all the help and the information.
