The Daily Courier, Wednesday, June 16, 1948 George W. Hull died Tuesday morning at the home of his son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lanning of Rogers Mills. Burial was in Hill View Cemetery. He was born April 17, 1869 at Broad Ford, a son of the late Jacob and Mariah Grimm Hull and lived at Rogers Mills for the past 41 years. He was retired as a coal miner from the HC Frick Coke Co. He was a member of the Hill View Church of God. His wife, Mrs. Clarissa P. Hull died Dec. 19, 1946. Surviving were four children, Rev. J. L. Hull of Templeton, Woodrow Hull of Normalville, Mrs. Daisy Patton of Ursina and Mrs. Lois Lanning of Rogers Mills; 39 grandchildren; 12 (62?) great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Hull of Scottdale RD1; three ssters, Mrs. Anna Johnson of Uniontown, Mrs. Margaret Bowman of Youngwood and Mrs. Bertha Clark of Galeton, NY. Six children preceded him in death
