If you navigate to the PA Archives of footnote.com (you can experiment with the site yourself, I'm not going to detail how for you). A long time ago I came across a copy of a small directory produced by ?? PA Museum Commission or some such, which was a guide to doing genea-research in the published PA Archives. From that: there are PA early marriages in the PA Archives in The Second Series,Vol 2:marriages licenses issued prior to 1790; Sixth Series Vol 6:marriage licenses 1784- (can't read my copy-blurred); Second Series Vol 8:marriages recorded by the (blurred) General 1685-1689; and Second Series Vol 8-9: marriages prior to 1810. I can't remember if county of residence for the couples were noted. Hope you find something there.
