Bella, The Ancestry.com BLANK print out schedule/form for 1830 Census is the same as the ORIGINAL schedules/forms for the 1830 Census. I did a survey of the following States & Territories, all them are ORIGINAL schedules/forms for the 1830 Census -- same as the BLANK schedules/forms for the 1830 Census! Alabama - Connecticut - Delaware - Florida - Georgia - Illinois - Indiana - Kentucky - Louisiana - Maine - Maryland - Massachusetts - Michigan Territory - Mississippi - Mississippi. I NEVER found "the question," on the BOTTOM of the page, of any ORIGINAL form! If a person named Joseph FOUSE is on line #5 -- all the info on line 5, page 1, would refer to him & his household. Following on page 2, line 5, it would continue with more info on Joseph FOUSE & his household. If under ALIEN, on line 5, is the #1, it means one person in that household is an Alien. If it has the #4, under ALIEN, on line 5, it means there are 4 people who are ALIENS in Joseph FOUSE's household. Hence, at the bottom of the page, (under ALIEN), would be the TOTAL, of all the different ALIENS, living in all the different households on that page!
