    2. Hi lists, On one of the mailing lists I subscribe too, questions about immigration & citizenship have been coming up often. So, I thought I would do an outline on this topic & post it: Have you searched the Census Records to find out when someone came into the US & whether they were Naturalized or Alien? 1830 Census -- under White Persons: 1. ALIENS - Foreigners not Naturalized. 1900 Census -- under Citizenship: 1. Gives year of Immigration to the US. 2. Number of years in the US. 3. Naturalization. 1910 Census -- under Citizenship: 1. Gives year of Immigration to the US. 2. Whether Naturalized or Alien. 1920 Census -- under Citizenship: 1. Gives year of Immigration to the US. 2. Naturalized or Alien. 3. If Naturalized, year of naturalization 1930 Census -- under Citizenship: 1. Gives year of Immigration to the US. 2. Naturalized or Alien. Hi, The info contained on the cenus should help... however ! 1) These dates of immigration are often times not correct. 2) I have seen people listed on the census as Naturalized (NA) when in fact they were not.
