It's take a few years, but I've finished collecting, extracting, copying, archiving, printing with pedigree charts, and compiling a copy of each and every one to donate to the Chestnut Ridge Historical Society. It is a nearly 15 year collection, not just the blood Moores, but the spouses' and spouses' families. Not just Westmoreland Co. but across the country. All connected in some way with Johannes Conrad Moore, cooper on Chestnut Ridge, 1840ish. Not all the MOOREs of Westmoreland Co. are connected to Johannes Conrad Moore but enough are that the Moores had/have a saying..."don't say anything bad about a Moore in the county...you are probably married to one." The upcoming holidays will be expensive, of course, so I won't be able to mail all these boxes until after the first of the year. In the meantime, however, if anyone wants an obituary, 99 percent of them are in my FTM notes and I can send individual copies email.
