Latrobe Bulletin, sent by Nancy Moore Keir Wednesday, March 2, 1910 – Elizabeth Shoup Funeral services for Mrs. Shoup The funeral services for the late Mrs. Elizabeth Shoup whose death occurred at the home of her son, W. M. [sic] Shoup of Snydertown, on Monday will be held at the son’s residence at 2:00 o’clock, tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. L. J. Baker, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church being in charge. The interment will follow in the Mechesneytown Cemetery. Mrs. Shoup was the widow of Lewis Shoup, deceased, and was 89 years of age at the time of her death. She is survived by a daughter. Mrs. Issac Marsh of Bradenville, and a son. W. M.[sic] Shoup of Snydertown. ______________________________________________________________ Elizabeth Catherine LINT was a daughter of Jacob and Catherine Snyder Lint. She was born March 1821. She married George Michel Shawley/Sholey about 1845 and they had a son, Cyrus John Sholey, born 8 March 1846. George died before 1847. Elizabeth Catherine Sholey married Louis SHOUP before the 1850 census. She had 2 children with Louis/Lewis Shoup: William Bell Shoup and Catherine Shoup -- Mrs. Isaac W. Marsh. .
