Some one on this list once asked me about any knowledge of a Wise/Brindle relationship.  I have recently learned of a Wise will in ?York County? that indicates that Henry Wise, Silversmith/Clockmaker,  of Greensburg, PA was the sister of Mary Wise who was married to a Brindle.  I have only recently returned to researching this Wise line.  This may indicate why Henry Wise was guardian to the Brindle children at the death of their father in Westmoreland County, PA. tullycross2@comcast.net
