I've "rescued" an old photograph of Jennie FULTON which was taken at the A. N. Stauffer Studio in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with Jennie likely in her teens at the time it was taken. In addition to her name, someone has written "second cousin of Mama's on her Mother's side". Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Jennie and her family: Hannah Jane FULTON was b. 22 Aug 1860 in Derry, PA to parents Oliver Bovard FULTON (b. 3 Oct 1833 in Derry, PA) and Nancy MORRISON (b. 10 Oct 1834). Hannah Jane was one of four children born to this couple including, Hannah Jane; Robert Morrison; Daniel Bovard; and Martha Marcella FULTON, all born in Derry, PA between 1860 and 1868. Hannah Jane married John KEISER and she died in Tarentum, PA on 28 Aug 1943. Census records provide the following information: 1870 census of Derry Township, PA: Oliver B. FULTON, age 37, a Farmer, born PA Nancy FULTON, age 35, born PA Hannah J. FULTON, age 10, born PA Robert M. FULTON, age 7, born PA Daniel B. FULTON, age 5, born PA Martha M. FULTON, age 2, born PA And living directly next door - James & Martha J. FULTON and three children + John FULTON 1880 census of Latrobe, PA: Nancy FULTON, age 45, a widow, born PA, a Tailoress, parents born PA Jennie FULTON, dau, age 19, born PA, a Telegraph Operator, parents born PA Robert FULTON, son, age 17, born PA, Clerks in Store, parents born PA Daniel FULTON, son, age 14, born PA, at School, parents born PA I am hoping to locate someone from this FULTON Family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place, with family.
