    1. [PAWESTMO] Dr. William Hunter's two sons
    2. Sent by Nancy Moore Keir Latrobe Bulletin Monday, January 3, 1910: DEATH MAKES DOUBLE VISIT Two Little Children were claimed To the many local and nearby friends of Dr. and Mrs. William D. Hunter, formerly of Near Bradenville, now of Monesssen, it will come as a shock to learn that on New Year's day they lost their little six year old son, William, his death having followed by eight days after the death of their baby son, Leroy. In both cases pneumonia was the cause of death. Leroy, the baby son succumbed to the disease on the 23rd of December (two days before Christmas. The Monessen physicians made most heroic efforts to save the life of the child William having arranged a schedule so that from Christmas when his illness assumed a dangerous form, until New Year's day when his death occurred, there was not an hour but that a physician was at his bedside. He was kept alive from Sunday, the 26th until New Year's day, by the use of oxygen. Science was baffled at every turn by the malignant form of the disease. _______________________________________________________ Shirley Maynard Hampton, VA
