Miss Mary Elizabeth Weimer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Collins Weimer, of West Newton and Stephen Yablonsky of Smithdale were united in marriage in Washington, D. C. on Tuesday, Dec. 30 by the Rev. James A. Smyth. After spending several days in the capitol city Mr. and Mrs. Yablonsky visited Herman Actzehn at Newark, N. J. Announcement has been made of the marriage at Youngstown, Ohio, on Christmas Day of Lawrence Burkhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Burkhart of Scottdale and Miss Doris Shultz of Youngstown. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Burkhart will make their home with the former's parents for the present. The young people became acquainted while Mr. Burkhart was employed at Youngstown. Announcement has been made of the marriage in Cumberland, Maryland, on December 30 of Miss Myrtle Singleton, of George street, and George A. Funk, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Funk of Greensburg. Mrs. H. Epley and Mr. and Mrs. E. Clayton, of Jeannette, were guests at the marriage of Miss Georgian Arnott Thomas of the Northside, Pittsburgh and Howard Roy Epley, of Breckenridge, which took place at the home of the bride with the Rev. Jeffrey Jennings, of St. Andrews Episcopal church officiating. Miss Mary Thomas was her sister's maid of honor and Thomas E. Pfeil of ?ibert was his best man.
