In a message dated 2/12/2011 16:50:58 Eastern Standard Time, dtis4me@zoominternet.net writes: William Giffen Hunter, aged 64, a veteran of the Baltimore & Ohio railroad died at his home in Connellsville Friday. He was a native of Westmoreland County and went to Connellsville 30 years ago, entering the employ of the Baltimore & Ohio as a clerk in the supervisor's office. He was a member of the Masons and the Presbyterian church. Two children, Miss Clara Louise Hunter of Connellsville, and Abraham T. Hunter of Pittsburg survive. Funeral services Sunday at 2 o'clock from his late residence in Connellsville. Mr. Hunter was a relative of Miss Martha Giffen of Greensburg and had a large circle of friends here. I think this is one of my lost ones. A Hunter married Lulu Simms, one of the granddaughters of my Jim Moore's first family with Celesta Martin.
