Cousin in Derry said she is going to try to go to the Latrobe library tomorrow and she added William Hunter from Adams 1910 to the list. I sent her the family tree from Thomas Hunter to his census information especially Amanda Hunter Bush. This is Amanda's obituary. Unfortunately it didn't mention siblings, but they were on the censuses with her parents. _____________________________________________________________________ The following was in the Latrobe Bulletin on Monday, November 27, 1933: Mrs. Amanda Hunter Bush Mrs. Amanda Hunter Bush, 71 years, 3 months old, died at 2:15 o'clock Saturday morning of a complication of diseases, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Leary, of Bradenville. She is survived by six children: Elmer, of California; Mrs. Wilbur Hicks, of Sagamore; Mrs. David Powers, of Derry; and Charles and Harry Bush and Mrs. John Leary of Bradenville. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Bush who was born and reared in Derry Twp., was a daughter of Thomas and Susan Hunter. Her husband, John Bush, died January 25, 1900. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Leary, in Bradenville, at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. w. A. Sites in Charge. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Youngstown. _________________________________________________________________ John Bush died 25 Jan. 1900 but he doesn't have an obit listed in Adams. Oh, my, since he died so early, I wonder if it was a mining accident? I'll ask Cousin Nancy to check the newspaper for that day. That's how we're finding those who died in the Spanish Flu epidemic.
