LOWIS PHOTOGRAPHER, GREENSBURG, PA." It's possible there may be typo's and I'm going to ask for a photocopy of the back of the photo. The photo is probably after 1880 and definitely prior to 1910. Sometimes there were traveling photographers, too. In a research for a college paper, I found a photograph in a book of a man, his wife, and child (that was supposed to be dead) taken in the wrong year at the wrong place. It caused some consternation that his autobiography was wrong. I even wrote to a man who was an expert in this man's life and got the obvious answer...maybe it was a traveling photographer. Well, of course. If you don't find him, perhaps he did travel and he didn't have a studio. Shirley Maynard Hampton, VA
