    3. There was a state mandated recording of births, deaths and marriages in every county in PA from 1852-1854. There's a complete copy on microfilm in the Pennsylvania Room of the Main Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh (Oakland Branch). There are other copies too I'm sure.
