Dear Listees: I am requesting any help, clues, suggestions regarding the Philip Alwine family who resided in the Census of 1850 in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County. Philip was 32, a shoemaker, Martha was 33, keeping house, and Sarah, 7, Eliza (later Louisa), 5, and Samuel, 1 were their children. Did Philip die? Did the family move?Martha's maiden name? In 1860, Martha is married to Levi Hammond and living in Antis Twp., Blair Co., PA, also in 1870 and 1880 and then I cannot locate anyone from this family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edna
