She was born in West Newton. I'm sure it was in the West Newton newspaper, which I haven't found. Perhaps it will be in the Greensburg newspaper. Shirley Maynard Hampton, VA

    3. You should read the Feb. 12, 1890 newspaper. Today in Greensburg on that date they had a blizzard which was the worst in 30 years. It isn't pretty here today, but it is better than that! West Newton may pop up in there sometimes, I was amazed at how much of the extended area they cover. 3. Thanks Mickey, I looked at every marriage prior to 1905 and found no Williams that married a Flora o Florence. However there were not a bunch of marriage recorded prior to 1905. But I did find these marriage. How would I go about getting more information on them? Maybe parents, age, etc. Could be Flora's children or a second marriage for Flora. Any help? Thanks. 3. Where would be the best place to call in this area of Greenburg to see if I can locate a a death date or an the obituary on the Williams - Flora, Castle C or Goff H. From this census record it is highly likely that Flora re-married if she was only in her early 30's when the parted. My best bet may be to locate something on Castle C or Goff H since they would still be Williams. Can not seem to locate them on the 1900 census. Does Greenburg or PA have a web site where you can locate birth, marriage and death records? What would have been the newspaper at that time to check for articles on William A Cox or advertisements of Keystone Bottling Works. Thanks, Pat On Thu, Feb 3, 2011 at 10:35 AM, Thomas M. 3. I think her husband may be Martin Williams. The names kind of match up in the 1900 census for Barbour, WV. If you look at the 1910 info, all the children are born in WV including the youngest who would have been born about 1902. Also, Ancestry has some trees that seem to match as well. If I get a chance later, I'll look for an obit. On 2/2/2011 5:51 PM, Patricia Robison wrote: > I have the following census record for which I can find no additional > information. P. Hartman, Pohl, Claypole, The letters belong to my neighbor. He does not use computers. I think that he wants to find a good home for them. I do not know if he would want any money for them. One is a letter from a PFC Jerald L. Claypole, with an APO address , one is a bill for $9.00 for receipt of coal from C. E. Watson Coal Co., Morgantown WV.. another is a receipt in German for 100 of some kind of money. I did not ask if he wants to get rid of the Atlas. Another name is Edward Pohl at 716 Sellers Ave., Jeanette, PA 65 miles away. The envelope return address of one is from Magnolia Lodge at p. o. Box 316, another is TO; Mr & Mrs. Robert Claypole 216 Talbot Ave. Braddock PA 15104. Jeanette to Braddock is 18 miles Cheers Don Firsdon On Thu, 20 Jan 2011 16:21:48 -0600 Peggy <kinhunter@rocketmail.com> writes: > Hi Don, > > Are you offering look ups from the letters, or what? > > Thanks, > > Peggy > WVMonong List Admin > > > On Jan 20, 2011, at 2:39 PM, Don Firsdon wrote: > > > Hello; > > > > My neighbor bought a 1963 readers Digest Atlas. 1. [PAWESTMO] SAMPUBCO - courtesy message to visitors
    2. W David Samuelsen
    3. This is a courtesy message addressed to the Internet Explorer users in particular. There was a code glitch causing the lists not to display properly, showing a long string instead. This is not your fault. This has been fixed and now showing the lists properly (taking me 5 days to fix every page.) I regret that no one bother to tell me about this problem for over a month. Please come back and visit http://www.sampubco.com/ W. David Samuelsen

    1. [PAWESTMO] Moore obits collection
    2. I've been working hours every day at archiving the Moore family of Chestnut Ridge obit collection. I keep telling myself I'm almost done, then find another pile. Right now I'm manually separating a pile of obits that belong in all of the Moore children's families. They arrived too late for the first archiving that I've already sent to the Chestnut Ridge Historical Society, so now I need to make an appendix to those volumes. Of course, many of my obits are of James B. Moore's first 3 families, those already compiled and soon to be mailed, so he will have an appendix, as well, mailed at the same time as the originals. I don't know how many thousands of obits I have, but over 2000 for sure. Not only Moore families, but their spouses' families and those associated with the families. I started this in 2009 and here it is 2011. It will get done this year, through computer crashes, adware, broken printers, you name it. That is my mantra. It will get done. If anyone has a name and death, I can check my files to see if I have an obit. These are the Moores.
