Is anyone researching the Aiken/Aken families who lived in Westmorland County in the late 1700's and perhaps early 1800's. Martha Jenny Burnside (sister of my gggg grandfather, Robert Burnside) married William Aiken in County Antrim before immigrating to MD in 1777. Thanks for any help! Linda
I see that my forward was blocked, so this is what it is about. Someone saw the photo for sale, and wanted to notify me, as I guess I have Rev. Fink in my database at Worldconnect/Rootsweb.
This might be of interest to FINK researchers.

Hi All, Where does one write to obtain copies of marriage certificates in Westmoreland County and how much are they? Thanks, Nancy
There was a state mandated recording of births, deaths and marriages in every county in PA from 1852-1854. There's a complete copy on microfilm in the Pennsylvania Room of the Main Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh (Oakland Branch). There are other copies too I'm sure.
