If you are registered user of PA-roots.com I don't have a suggestion. If you are not take some time to register. It is hard to find the door, but I found it behind "Editors" and "don't have an account." Clicking on it gave the option to register. I'd love to do 1940, but the first few pages had scribbling handwriting and I'm not sure I trust myself to translate it. Maybe younger eyes can do better. I have a lot of Crabtree people, too. I didn't realize that was Jamison 4. Well, I plead ignorance. I didn't know what Jamison any number meant until seeing it in Donald Haas's obit yesterday. We do live and learn. Hi, I found in the 1910 census an 8-year old girl, MINNIE MEESE, in the Westmor eland Children's Aid Society, and was wondering if and how I could find out why she was there, and who her parents were. Thanks, Sid
I am researching Jemima Turney Campbell Redburn (1802-1885) that may have come from Westmoreland County. She married a Campbell (either Robert or Thomas) around 1823. Has anyone come across a Jemima Turney in early Westmoreland County? She is my missing link to her people and her husband's since there are so many Campbells in the area. Any advice is welcome! THANKS Elizabeth Garland
