Can you give me a clue as how to find the list after I have entered the genealogy and research? Hi, Delores.... The Westmoreland County Historical Society does not have searchable online databases, so that is why you are not finding lists of names on their web site. I had given the information regarding to the genealogy and research link so researchers could see where the tax records are, how to visit to research them, and, if you live far away, how to get research assistance from the Society. I think you'll find that many historical societies simply do not have the resources to make things available online. Someone else has suggested the Pennsylvania tax lists recently made available on Ancestry.com. (Pennsylvania Tax and Exoneration Lists). Westmoreland County is included in this database, but only up until 1801. The holdings at the Westmoreland Co Historical Society are much more complete, but if you are just trying to establish an early presence in Westmoreland County for one of your ancestors, looking at Ancestry's database certainly can't hurt. Good luck with your searches....... Donna E. J.

    1. [PAWESTMO] BORDWELL - CARR Family Autograph Album
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old autograph album which originally belonged to India BORDWELL from Bear Lake, Pennsylvania. The album was a gift to India from her teacher in 1886 and includes entries dated from 1886 to 1891 including those of both family and friends as well, including family from Pennsylvania and New York who mostly appear to be descendants from Stoddard & Lydia BORDWELL. India is the daughter of Charles BORDWELL and Laura PIERCE based on the information contained in the album. I've included some of the information regarding the family which I was able to gather along with a listing of all those making entries in the album. There was a considerable amount of additional census information gathered but I've chosen not to include it all in an attempt to keep the posting somewhat short: India BORDWELL Autograph Album "To Inda, as a reward for perfect lessons, from her Loving Teacher, Velma DOUD" March 1886 India M. I'm just trying to get the Fullers in Groups, there is quite a lot of them in Kiski, I found the Apollo historical society yesterday and sent them an email. This is what I mean by ancestry trees someone has Rebecca living and dying in Wisconsin Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm checking there just in case. Many thanks for your time. 3. Hi Michael Thanks for your reply Just to let you know any emails i send to comcast.net are returned to me. There are other people I have been wanting to email who use comcast so this is another headache. Thanks but everyone refers me to the ancestry entry there is no proof of Henry being this Rebecca and Johns son, that's what I need to find. I did contact the person that put that tree there, no one has proof of anything. The John and Rebecca Fuller I have were in Kiskiminetas, John died intestate and I have part of a legal document here that list's Johns and Rebeccas' children Guess what no Henry But I only have part of this document it's about 160 pages long. So I need now perhaps to find something on Rebecca. Did she go to WI A lot of Henry's family ended up in WI John and Rebecca's 7 children are:- Jane Caroline + James Alcorn Matilda + William Holden? Elizabeth + Alexander McComb Albert Elmyra + Robert Alcorn Ira ?? *No Henry on Ancestry they are listed under Huller Henry was 61 on the 1880 Census and 81 When he died. That's what I mean by the dates being all mixed up. I will see if I can find Rebecca in Wisconsin but I think the information on Ancestry is both Fuller families mixed up I think, will have to try and straighten it out There is also a John and Rebacca Fuller in Jefferson county. What a headache especially when I'm doing this from Australia. Thanks for your time much appreciated kind regards Dianna

    3. I think we'd be able to tell a photo from a photo of a painting..... Neither here nor there, just be leery of things you see on Ancestry and do your own research. Don't copy what you see, are not sure of and is obviously dubious... and include it as a part of yours -----Original Message----- From: pawestmo-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pawestmo-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Judy B Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2012 10:34 AM To: pawestmo@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PAWESTMO] Fuller family (Michael Wayne) Umm, I have pictures of my 4gr grandfather's family. My family (at that time) was composed of quite a few artists and what the pictures are, are copies of the paintings and drawings made at that time. So don't just automatically disregard these pictures. -----Original Message----- From: Jack O'Connor Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2012 10:11 AM To: pawestmo@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PAWESTMO] Fuller family (Michael Wayne) I once saw a picture in one of the trees that was captioned, "McGuire Settlement 1790". 1790!, who had cameras in 1790. Clues, leads or ideas. That's all they're good for.
