    3. What a find! Just received old Cole genealogy book, 40+ pages, 1000+ names, compiled by Mrs. Cordell Jewell sometimes in the early 1950's. Descendents of Conrad Cole (b. 8 Dec 1775) & Mary Deeter (b 17 Oct 1772). Also listed are some descendents of Jacob Cole, believed to be Conrad's brother as "descendants fo both men claimed to be related to eachother", but at the time of compilation, the link was not verified. Route of travel was eastern PA to Northampton County & Westmoreland County to western PA. Settled some time in Westmoreland County. Names are not indexed alphabetically, but if you are at a dead end for a Cole family member I will do look-ups. Amy

One of Martha's ancestors came on the same ship as William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania. The name of the ship was the "Friendship". There is a total of about 6 buildings of some type at this place. It is in the middle of no where. Turtle Creek is in Patton Twp., Allegheny Co 1872 Atlas Apollo, there are two, one in Armstrong Co and one in Washington Twp., Westmoreland Co 1872 Atlas Oakland Cross Rd is in Washington Twp. 1872 Atlas Braeburn is in Lower Burrell Twp. 1872 Atlas Hillsview, P.O. is in Fairfield Twp. 1872 Atlas Laughlintown, this is the correct spelling, it is not spelled Laughlinstown it is in Ligonier Twp. 1872 Atlas Geary, P.O. is in Salem Twp. 1872 Atlas Cribbs, P.O. is in Hempfield Twp. 1872 Atlas Verona, P.O. is Nineveh RR Station is in St Clair Twp. 1872 Atlas Dry Ridge, P.O. is near Latrobe in Derry Twp. 1872 Atlas Dry Ridge Historical School is in Dayton, Armstrong Co Dry Ridge Reservoir is in Greensburg, Hempfield Twp. Stauffer's , RR Station is in East Huntingdon Twp. 1872 Atlas, Omni Gazetteer and the Rand McNally type atlas of 1987. I have found Huntingdon spelled Huntington in two of these resources. So I'm not sure which is correct. According to the Omni Gazetteer.
