    1. Elders Ridge Presbyterain Church found...
    2. Barbara Lorensen
    3. My thanks again for all the help I received information about the Elders Ridge Presbyterian Church Thanks Barb The Elders Ridge Presbyterian Church still stands. It is in Elders Ridge. The church merged with Olivet and Clarksburg in the 1960's and is now the Trinity United Presbyterian Church of Clarksburg. The Olivet Church was torn down, and the Elders Ridge Church is not used anymore. It's not in the best condition. I would imagine that if there are any records they would be at the Clarksburg Church.

    1. Obituary
    2. Allen D. McCrady
    3. My last hope to discover the McCready (McCrady) who married (or maybe didn't) Peter MarmiƩ's daughter Sarah (Sally) Marmie sometime around 1820-4 is a possible obituary for Eleanor (Elinor) McCrady , one of Sarah's daughters. Eleanor married David George. Sarah's boys, Peter McCready and William McCready disappeared into Indiana County and Monongahela (City) respectively around 1873. Eleanor died March 4, 1901 resident of Vandergrift, but her death certificate says nothing about her parents. Was David George, her husband who died in 1904, ashamed of her parentage? A search of the two local papers for the area at the time, the Apollo Sentinel and the Vandergrift Citizen, drew a blank. Could anyone in the Greensburg area check the newspaper(s) in general circulation in Greensburg for March 4 to 14, 1901 for an obit for Eleanor George (McCready, McCrady) ? Allen D. McCrady

    1. Seeking Robert Cutshall
    2. I am trying to locate a person who served in Vietnam with a friend of mine. Robert Cutshall would probly be in his mid 50s now. He was stationed on the USS Lexington, Pensacola, FL at one time. His family lived in Trafford, PA then and owned a restaurant. If anyone has phone directories from that time period, I'd like to compare an address Mr Cutshall gave my friend, to any Cutshalls in the 1972ish directory for any Cutshalls to at least find his parents names and go from there. 1. Lookup: Gooden/Gooding/Goodwin or other variation
    2. Lee Anne Center
    3. If you have a will or court index for WESTMORELAND COUNTY and/or ADAMS Co., would you please tell me what GOODENs (or variation) are listed pre-1849? Also, is Peter Waggoner in the court and/or will index for Adams Co.? I am trying to locate the parents of Catharine GOODEN (b. abt. 1777), whose father left her money when he died. Peter Waggoner of Adams Co. PA was holding this money for her. This fact is referenced in Catharine's deceased husband's John Smit's will, but John did not say what Catharine's father's name was. I am hoping that an Adams county court record, or a will for Peter Waggoner, who died in 1851 in Adams Co. PA might say. An account record for Peter Waggoner, deceased, gives interest to Mrs. Smith, gives money to Magdalena Smith, and mentions Dr. J. N. Smith. There are many other names mentioned in the account record too. I need the court or will records for Peter Waggoner and/or Catharine's father will help me make some progress on Catharine's line. I only have bits of information, and I think that these records may help me make sense of some of the bits. Lee Anne Names in the Peter Waggoner, deceased, account (please note that this copy is really poor; a better copy might improve the transcription of the names; if a name appeared twice or there were ditto marks under it, I listed it only once): R.
