Elizabeth Wade WILLIAMS, the 2nd wife after Phebe Squire WILLIAMS, of Gershom, the preacher, was murdered by a tramp she had fed a breakfast meal to, while on her way to a religious meeting. I have been told some of the story. I am wondering if there are others out there who know additional details of the circumstance. The hanging was at Honesdale, in Wayne County.
