Nathan Skinner Young was my maternal grandmothers, grandfather and he married Ann Hill Bryant on November 20, 1844. She was born August 16, 1824, and he was born March 19, 1824 in Wayne County. Nathan served with Company M., 17th PA., Vol Cal. from September 22, 1862, to December 15, 1864, when he was honorably discharged. According to his obituary he removed to Brown County, Kansas in 1871 and then to Cloud County in 1873. He died in Concordia, Cloud county, Kansas on November 28, 1911. Ann Hill Bryant died there on October 13, 1895. The obituary also stated there were eleven children born to "this" union. Would anyone have church records or information about these children? There is a Dr. Oscar H. Young (December 1,1845-January 21, 1889), a Gus Young who died January 22, 1892, and a Mrs. S.C.Young who died April 1, 1889, all at the same burial site. Could you possible help with his or her parents, siblings, children or any information pertaining to this family.
