Searching for info on the following family: BUEHLER/BUHLER - Michael b c 1789 Baden, GER d aft 1839 Wayne Co., PA, 2nd m Christina (DASTE, DAISSE, DAISTE - from Michael's will) and they had 4 children: Jacob b 1825 GER m Mary A. WAGNER, they had 17 children!, Christopher m Jane Ann SIMPSON had 4 children; Mena b 1832 PA m Francis MILLER; George b 1839 m with 1 child. (Also spelled BEELER, BEEHLER& BELAR). From Michael's first marriage (in GER - mentioned in his will) he had a daughter, Louisa, who is shown below on the emigration ship. I recently transcribed the ship's list for Ship BAYARD 5 Sept. 1828 (http://istg.rootsweb.com/) from Harve to NYC. On the list is this family: Michal BU(E)HLER 39 - weaver, Christian (probably his wife Christina) 28, Lousa 9, G J 4, Christof 12, Carl 46, I Ad?? 10, Carl 14 and I A 10. All from Baden. Spellings are exactly as written by the captain of the ship. This is my family. Altho this ship docked in NYC, other info from local PA county histories says the Buehler's were also in Philadelphia and Michael was in Wayne Co. by 1829.
