Oddly Clara Sheldon, Clarisse Sheldon, does not show up anywhere in 1870 she states she was b. in NY--no one there, not even close to the supposed yr. of her birth. Tried PA--and no families again statewide with someone in the right brackets. the ONLY Jefferson/ Jeff., J.C. C. Tyler to show in the eastern sector of the US is the one b. 4 Oct 1841 Dimmock, Susq. PA, who md. Louisa Carlin, she b. c 1845, and her family also from Susq. Co., PA Jefferson C. Tyler was the son of Sylvanus Tyler, his wife, Mary Quick. Jefferson and Louisa had 4 children, all of whom lived. #1. Morton S., the eldest son, b. c 1864 md Leona ?, they had, in 1910, Clarence, Ray O., Royal, Harry A., and Ralph. #2. Nancy, at home in 1880, gone by 1900--one can assume married. #3. Cyrus B. b. 1869. He md. Alpha M., moved to Carbon Co., they were md 6 yrs in 1910, had -0- children. #4. Alphretta was at home in 1910, still single. This eliminates this Jefferson Tyler, and his sons from the probable Dads unless he has a double life we know nothing about. <G> happens. Clara's 2nd husband, Frank Cole is in my data base as son of Peter and Rebecca of Honesdale. It seems he was married, lost wife and child(children?) in the 1890s. In 1930, Wilbur Tyler, age 42, is boarding with Will Branning in Wayne Co. 1930, Verne L., (33), (b. September 26, 1896- Bramen- died Jan 1981Equinunk, SSDI rec) md. Frances, (24) lived buckingham Twnp., Wayne Co., with daughter Beverly 1 yr old He was listed right after the Matthew Billings Family, whose f-in-law, Wallace Cole living with them, houses before that, cple of Lord families---all of whom are tied to my varying lines, by blood, marriage, or both. These families all criss cross, tie in,out and around---s solving one solves another usually. Sheila // Firehair
