    2. Hi Ann, I was using the birth dates that they used for the WWI Draft Registration. My thinking was that they would each know when they were born and they would have provided the info themselves for the draft registration. Who knows who gave the information for the census taker. Is my rationale incorrect? If my late husband was providing the info for me to a census taker, who knows what he would have given them.....he never could remember the exact date of my birthday...even after 28 years together. 3. I'm confused. I thought you were looking for the parents of the non-Conklin Roscoe. Did they both have the same birthdate as well as the same name? ----- Original Message ----- From: <CMMEADOWS2@aol.com> To: <PAWAYNE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 5:54 PM Subject: Re: [PAWAYNE] ROSCOE > Hi Ann, > > I was using the birth dates that they used for the WWI Draft Registration. > My thinking was that they would each know when they were born and they would > have provided the info themselves for the draft registration. 3. Ok. Now I get it. They both registered for WWI with different birthdates. With the death date from the SSDI I can look for his obit; might give his parents' names. Then again it might not. A death certificate should, too, but doesn't always. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ann O'Hara" <yannster@ptd.net> To: <PAWAYNE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 10:01 PM Subject: Re: [PAWAYNE] ROSCOE > I'm confused.
