Exactly, which is why I looked those up and sent on---ancestry.com has them, it's a paid/subscription site--which many folks don't have. I know I sure wouldn't if my family hadn't given it to me as a joint gift. anyhow, that a good source, and sending for soc sec info also is, because generally speaking---the folks filled it out themselves. Diitto marriage applications--we filled out our own, right? Used to be, when families kind of stayed in an area? Folks used the same funeral homes--- those records are good, due to many members of a family having records in that one place. Sheila / Firehair
