The library pays for a membership for it's PATRONS. Those folks in the tax area of the library. They also pay for so much usage. If they were flooded to the point of crashing, I am sure all the non library patrons trying to use a pay sight for free, just ruined it for the people that it was meant for. I really do have to laugh at all the excitement generated by the chance of using an fee site, when I see so many on our list complain at the thought of a pay service... Been an Ancestry.com member for years. Wish I could afford to have both Ancestry and Heritage Quest because they are worth it. Unless you have unlimited time to travel, or money to pay researchers... I will testify to you that it's money well spent to a serious researcher... Iris
