Lisa, "Drinker's Beech" were a series of articles written by G. Ellis Miller, a local genealogist, that appeared in "The Villager". "The Villager" is a local paper in the Mount Cobb / Lake Ariel area. The articles appeared through the 1960's and 70's. They were written about a lot of the families in the area, and quite a bit of local history. You can get the films through the LDS also. I have hard copy of the "Drinker's Beech" articles, as does the GRSNP and the North Pocono Public Library. The Scranton Public Library has films of "The Villager". Bear in mind that Mr. Miller is not always accurate. But he can put you in the direction you need to look.
