Hi, Fred Myers' Webpage shows the death date of this Thomas Bortree as 5 Mar 1865 rather than 1864. Does anyone know for sure which date is correct? Carol Potter Meadows

The Register of Thomas' will is dated 1864: 'Wayne County, ? this day before me M. Regan Jr., Jno. H. Williams, Register for the probate of wills and Letters of Lyman Ames, Administration....he was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief. Carol The date listed on my site is from a transcription of Garford Williams' family history for the BORTREEs. Happy to change it if you can tell me the transcription is not correct.
