RE: >From: [email protected] >I am looking for Levi Abel Webster >who died in Sterling on October 12, 1849 -- According to "The History of Sterling" (by Rev. Garford Flavel Williams), both Levi and his wife Martha Munn are buried in Salem Cemetery, which Norman seems to think is in Hamlin. (Someone on the list will know.) As children, Norman's mother and her siblings used to play in the remains of Levi's cabin (West Sterling) which was situated directly behind their farm (Smith). Yes, the cemetery in Hamlin is know by various names - Salem, New Salem, Hamlin. The older part of the cemetery is on one side of the road and the newer on the other. ----- Original Message ----- From: "the dickey family" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 06, 2001 4:34 PM Subject: [PAWAYNE-L] Levi A.
