Hello, Please don't take your index down (though I see you have already). Most newspapers only keep free access to their content available for a short while. After that, one must pay. In any case, an index online makes it possible for someone who doesn't know where their ancestor lived, and who therefore might not know what newspaper to check, to find the obit.
