Holly: Luzerne county once included what is now Lackawanna County until late in the 19th century. Since Lackawanna is contiguous to Wayne, ownership of land (or moving back and forth) is certainly not out of the realm of possibility. My g grandfather lived north of Scranton (in what was then Luzerne Co.) and then moved to Northern Wayne about 1900. Lee Woodmansee
