And the Bethel School, a one-room school from ca. 1870 is open the first Sunday of every summer month near Honesdale, PA with special programs and teacher reenactments (I am the current spelling bee champ). On the first Saturday of every summer month (plus July 23) you can visit the Old Stone Jail in Honesdale, in use from the 1850s to the 1930s. For more information on both, contact the Wayne County Historical Society, wchs@ptd.net. Another terrific site to visit in Wayne County is the Dorflinger Worker's Cottage, an original, painstakingly furnished home built by Christian Dorflinger for his glass factory workers in White Mills.
