Listers, I am descended from a Sutliff line that migrated from CT; they settled in Lower Luzerne. Abel Sutliff b. 1751 New Haven CT married Charity Barber, and came to Huntington Mills, Luzerne County PA. two generations before finds them in Deerfield MA (John Sutliff b. abt. 1675 m. Hannah Brockett). John's father was burned at the stake by Natives at Deerfield MA. Same Sutliff line? Holly
Holly, Could be. The Wayne County Sutliffs did come from Connecticut, but since they're not my line I haven't tracked them back before the 1770s. I'm sure they're out there. There's even a book about them.
